I wanted to send you a note in appreciation for the tremendous opportunity you provided for my Grade 4 class. Having you as our guest and speaker Stephanie Henry was an incredible experience that I know will have a lasting impact. The real-life educational experience this exchange afforded can’t be stressed enough and goes well beyond anything I could have meaningfully imparted by myself in the classroom. I hope your program reaches many other children to help bring about true change in a world which often speaks of doing something, but is unwilling to invest in what is needed to bring that about.

It was very interesting and refreshing to hear about their experiences and insights about many subjects that I personally run into every day and that are reoccurring in people’s daily lives. I was excited to hear about how they are so self motivated and I can relate to their life experiences. The experience was a model of inclusive excellence that not only enhanced the student’s academic performance but supported their psycho-social and emotional needs.
